Why I want to meet Andy Rooney
I love his writing… When I was in high school I wrote a column for our school newspaper that was mostly just me complaining about things. My adviser asked me if I was trying to be the next Andy Rooney… and I had no idea what she was talking about… so that’s when I started reading Mr. Rooney’s books. I also found out that my grandfather was an Andy Rooney Fan and never missed his segment on 60 Minutes. I just love Mr. Rooney’s sense of humor and I love that he was a link between me and Grandpa Jim.
